Essay Intro

We live in a world that have all kinds of people, some hope for peace and safety, some want war and chaos. For us, we need to find ways to make a world a better place. We have read a lot of books and the character in each book have their own unique ideas to make the world a better place. In the Last Book in the Universe by Rodman Philibrick, Spaz try to get to get to his sister to see her one last time. In the book "To Kill a Mockingbird", Atticus try to defend the Tom Robbison when others do not agree with him. In the book "Night", Elie tell the world about what happened during WW2 so that we don't do it again in the future. All the characters in each book try to transform the people around them, try to transform the world and make it a better place.

Innovation that Changed the World

This is the 21st Centry, and this is the centry of technology. Everything around us is related to technology. Iphones, computers, cars, planes and so on, technology changed our lives so much.

Everyday new inventions come out, now days people rely on technology. When we meet problems we go on the the internet to search the answers; during work, we use computers, printers, scanners and other technological machines to help us out. Even farmers use large machines to help plant and harvest the crops. All these technology help support our daily lives, pushing humanity forward.

Issues Today

I think the three most pressing issues today is farming monopolies, oil monopolies

and environemental protection. Now days more and more big and wealthy farm

owners take over the small farms, instead of planting crops and feed animals, a lot

of the process were done by machines and the big farm owner were really rich, all

the small farmers can't compete with them so a lot of the small farms were closed.

Oil monopolies use machines and high tech equipments to gather oils under

ground, it damage the environment around them, so a lot of people have to move

away if there is a huge oil refinery near them.

In the 21st centry, a lot of the process are

replaced by machines and more and

more polutions were made. The place that

use to have a lot of trees and grass were

replaced with big factories, places use to be

small town became tall buildings and

skyscrapers. Although it is a revolution to mankind but it heavily polluted Earth

environment.

Peace in Our Time

Hello fellow readers, today we are going to talk about what i hope to transform in this world.
As you can tell from the title, i wish that the world can be a peaceful place. There is no war between countries. Although we live in a safe and peaceful place, there is no war or any fighting in Santa Barbara, but outside of U.S, in Iraq, in Pakistan, and a lot of other places on this planted are in war. A lot of people died in war every single day. Everyday, new inventions come out, but a lot of them are designed to kill people or to destroy some targets. A lot of new technology come out, but they are not design to make humanity unite, they are pulling us apart. In stead of spending a lot of money on weapons to harm people, we should use them resources on space exploration or fixing the solution problems on Earth. Humanity should Unite and fight together.

Bravery

The most courageous person that i know is Abraham Lincoln. He got elected just before the cilvil war and he lead the Union fight against the Confederacy. He free the slave in and hold the country together during the most dangerous time in U.S. He was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth after the war, but his courage and bravery still remain.

I am a boot

Hi guys, today I am going to be a confederates soldier's boots, and i am going to write a poem to the future generation about the lesson I learned during the war.

I've been to the green grass land,
been to the deep dark forest,
been to the sandy desert,
and the rocky mountains.

I stepped into the icy river,
into the wet mud,
across the dead body of the soldiers
who fought bravely during war.

I went to the front line of the battle,
and stepped into the blood of the dead soldiers.
I fight for the right of the people of the South,
my enemy fight for the freedom of slaves.

I saw soldiers fight to defend their homeland,
saw soldiers lying on the ground, injured.
I am a confederates soldier's boots,
and this is the bloody Civil War.
